Story
The story of our Dog Wedding Chaperone services began with Zoe, Callum, and their much-loved Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Hugo. After meeting me at a local dog event five years earlier, Zoe and Callum reached out to ask whether I could chaperone their sweet but nervous boy on their wedding day. Although it wasn’t a service I had offered before, their trust and Hugo’s gentle nature inspired me to explore how I could make it work. Together, we designed a completely bespoke care package tailored to Hugo’s individual needs—ensuring he felt safe, calm, and included in every special moment. And just like that, the Dog Wedding Chaperone services were born in August 2022, all thanks to Hugo’s big day.

Hugo is an anxious dog who takes a long time to warm up to people, but Emily’s patience and experience shone through. She visited us several times before the wedding, always working at Hugo’s pace, and he quickly became relaxed and comfortable around her—even sleeping during one visit!

On the (very hot!) wedding day, Emily went above and beyond to keep Hugo safe and cool, even arranging an air-conditioned car. She brought him to the venue, made sure he was settled, and gave us plenty of time for photos and cuddles. Hugo was happy, calm, and clearly adored her.

Emily’s care, communication, and kindness made the whole experience stress-free. She played a huge part in making our day so special, and we can’t recommend her enough. If you need a dog chaperone, Emily is the person to trust.
